On 19 July 2025, Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA won’t host a football match or a pop concert as it usually does. It will host world’s biggest 360° hard techno rave by Verknipt, and a plan to break the Guinness World Record for the most lasers ever used in a live show.
The number they’re aiming for? More than 1,000. If all goes to plan, they’ll surpass the 2021 record set in Dubai with 824 lasers.
The lasers will fire at 11:50PM, precisely. Not as a finale, but as the core of a tightly timed visual program. Every beam is planned, placed, and synchronized. This is a technical show built for structure and scale.
The event marks Verknipt’s largest production to date. A 360-degree stage, full arena design, and a line-up that reflects the weight of the occasion. Names like Nico Moreno, Winson, Basswell, and Cynthia Spiering b2b Paul Elstak lead the night along with rising talent featured through Verknipt’s Pulse platform. The programming is aggressive, consistent, and designed for impact.
If the record is confirmed, it will be a milestone. But even without it, the message is clear: this scene is no longer confined to basements and warehouses. It can fill stadiums and keep its edge.
