This weekend begins with Friday the 13th, continues into Valentine’s Day, and ends with the Rijeka Carnival.
For some, Friday the 13th will be especially lucky today, as the Elector Award ceremony takes place in the Peti Kupe, where recognitions will be presented to key figures of the electronic music scene. Aside from that, tonight’s program is somewhat lighter, with only three parties scheduled in Zagreb, Rijeka, and Dubrovnik.
Saturday falls on Valentine’s Day, although it seems the scene doesn’t care too much about it, with only one out of six parties having a Valentine’s theme. Still, we believe there will be no shortage of love on the dance floor. In Zagreb, love will spread through AKC Attack and Masters. DJ Jock will play another in his series of all-nighters this February; after a very successful night in his hometown of Split, this weekend he’ll be spreading the love in Zadar. Valentine’s Day can also be celebrated to electronic sounds in Rijeka and Osijek.
This weekend, partying extends into Sunday as well, but only in Rijeka, the city of the most famous carnival, which on this occasion will host various respected names from the local scene such as Kali, Marcelo, Petar Dundov, and many others.
