Manuel, better known as Manscream behind the decks, is a 27-year-old Croatian-born, Amsterdam-based DJ who weaves sound like it’s second nature. Raised in the coastal city of Pula, his ears were first opened by the magic of Dimensions and Outlook festivals. Outlook’s heavy basslines sparked his love for drum and bass, while Dimensions introduced him to the pulse of four-to-the-floor rhythms in all their rich, genre-blurring forms.

Since 2013, he’s been shaping his sound within Croatia’s alternative scene – from intimate bars and sunlit terraces to local festivals and shadowy backroom dance-floors. Now calling Amsterdam home, he brings that same spirit to private parties, radio waves, and off-grid spaces that value raw connection.
His musical style flows freely between Balearic warmth, Mediterranean soul, moving grooves, acid swells, and deep, rolling energy. One foot in the sunlight, the other in the underground.

By day, Manuel works in sustainability, testing software that supports green technology and sustainable innovation. It’s a world of systems and precision – but music is where the rules fall away. The two balance each other: logic and flow, structure and chaos.
In his guestmix, Manscream delivers a rhythmic set infused with a touch of futuristic flair. You can listen to it on our YouTube channel or find it on SoundCloud:
INSITE: If you could have a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
MANSCREAM: A very hard question, but not as hard as the next one. I’d say Massimiliano Pagliara or Jordan Nocturne. Two different artists, but both orbiting the same shimmering planet called Disco. Massi is a true master of both production and DJing, while Jordan brings an incredible energy behind the decks. There’s so much to learn from both, a conversation with either would be priceless. One with an Aperol Spritz, the other with a beer.
Favorite Track?
Music. Rhythm. No favorite track in my arsenal, times shift, tastes evolve. But if I had to pick something that instantly comes to mind and delivers an eargasm, it would be – Leave You Far Behind by Lunatic Calm
