After a long music production break, Yakka returns to his original releases with the new single “All Right”, the first single announced from his upcoming album “Soulshine”, which will be released in September this year.
One of the most famous Croatian house DJs and the current winner of the Elector award for DJ of the Year, as chosen by the audience, he has almost two decades of career behind him, more than 100 performances a year, and praiseworthy collaborations and performances with many big names in the global electronic scene. In recent years, the focus has been primarily on DJing and residencies, while production has been in the background.
“All Right” marks the beginning of a new creative chapter and a return to studio work. The single was released on May 8th on all streaming platforms and digital music stores through his own Beatality label, which Yakka launched back in 2011.

“Interestingly, the song was written during the COVID period, but has only just received its official release. Perhaps symbolically, “All Right” comes at a time when we are once again looking for positive energy and optimism in the world around us. The melodic and radiophonic house sound is accompanied by a simple but powerful message that there is no need to worry and that everything will be okay in the end”, he described his new single.
Yakka’s upcoming album “Soulshine”, her second in a row after the 2017 album After Beach, continues the same feel-good direction. As the name suggests, it is a project that wants to convey a little warmth, light and positive energy through house music, without losing its club authenticity. In addition to radio edit versions intended for a wider audience, all releases will also come in extended versions adapted for DJ sets and clubs. Along with the announced album, Yakka announced that the audience will receive several more interesting singles that are in the works until September.
