More than just a musical event, Friday night at the Pula Arena was a moment that will go down in the history of the Croatian electronic music scene. A sold-out Arena, thousands of attendees from Croatia and across the globe, top-tier production, and one of today’s biggest DJs, Black Coffee, transformed the ancient amphitheater into a unique dance floor beneath the starry sky.
Grammy Award-winner Black Coffee once again demonstrated why he belongs at the very pinnacle of the global electronic music scene. His signature afro-house sound, impeccable track selection, and the atmosphere he cultivated among the thousands of people turned the Arena into a massive, beating dance heart of the Mediterranean. The audience stayed on their feet from the opening bars to the final song, and the thunderous applause that followed the set’s conclusion speaks volumes about just how special the evening was.
The Arena itself added a unique dimension to the event. Historic stone walls, modern production, and impressive lighting and visual effects created breathtaking scenes. Many attendees remarked that they had never experienced such a fusion of millennia-old heritage and contemporary electronic music.
The evening was opened by Croatian DJs Kylianno and Pablo Panda, who set the mood, while Carlita—one of the world’s most sought-after DJs—further ramped up the energy before the night’s main star took the stage. BSH has once again confirmed why it has become synonymous with the biggest electronic music spectacles in Croatia. Following last year’s performance by Black Coffee at Cave Romane—footage of which garnered over 90 million views on social media—scenes from the sold-out Pula Arena are expected to travel the globe, once again placing Croatia at the center of the international electronic music scene.
The spectacular event was held in partnership with the Adria Summer Festival, which is celebrating its milestone tenth edition this year, reaffirming its status as one of the region’s most significant summer festivals.
Following the unforgettable festival opening with Black Coffee, the 10th anniversary Adria Summer Festival continued yesterday. On the festival’s second night, the Pula Arena hosted one of the world’s greatest musicians—Sting.
