Music, drinks, and good food may be the staples of any great event – but Atelier N°8 goes a step further. This fresh event & entertainment agency brings a new concept to the Zagreb scene, where every gathering becomes a crafted experience, not just a party. Each event has its own unique character, mood and carefully constructed story.

More Than a Party – Experience as Art
Atelier N°8 doesn’t organize events “by the book.” Their approach fuses urban lifestyle, art, and entertainment with meticulous attention to detail that brings an authentic atmosphere to life.
“Our goal is for each event to have its own vibe as if you’re stepping into a mini-movie with its own storyline. Through the venue, collaborations, and music selection, we tell a new story every time,” said founders Juraj Bošnjak and Frano Vujić. Alongside them are two core team members: Lucija Vujić, who is in charge of strategy and product design, and Paola Tušinski, who leads content and communications for the agency.

We spoke with on of the the agency’s founders – Frano Vujić – to learn more about their vision, how Atelier N°8 came to be, and what makes their approach to event production stand out.
What exactly is Atelier N°8?
Frano: Atelier N°8 is a creative event & entertainment agency. We want to be a hybrid – offering professional event services while also developing our own concepts that connect people from different industries and shape a new kind of social culture in Zagreb.
Our events aren’t just parties – the focus is on networking, conversation, and building meaningful connections. Through each event, we want to show the versatility of our ideas and production style, and demonstrate to potential clients how we can creatively activate and present their brand in a unique way.
Visual identity and production are key to us. Every detail matters – from graphics and lighting to sound and spatial layout. Everything must be thoughtfully designed and aesthetically cohesive.
Although we launched just recently, we’ve already organized three events in our first month at Supet Klet, Lauba, and Karijola. We’ll be announcing more events for June, July, and September very soon.

How did the idea for Atelier N°8 come about, and what motivated you to take this unique approach to event production?
Frano: It all started quite spontaneously. Juraj, a friend, and I decided to throw a big, wild event at Jadran Film called Station One. It was very conceptual – we had a two-floor art exhibition, a nude performance, a pop-up area with fashion brands, and a main dancefloor with four DJs.
The feedback was incredible – not just from friends but from a much wider audience. That event made us realize how much people actually want thoughtful and different kinds of experiences. Since both of us are very social and creative, we decided to build an agency focused on exactly that – conceptual events that prioritize networking, and also client projects where we can apply all our ideas and vision.
How do you maintain authenticity and freshness in a world where everyone’s trying to be “different”?
Frano: Our authenticity comes from constantly thinking about new concepts and new locations. When we have a wild idea, we give it everything we’ve got to make it real. We don’t want any of our events to feel the same.
We also put a lot of effort into storytelling and event promotion. For each event, we create a “mini-movie” – a creative promo video that gives the audience a taste of the vibe and story, without revealing everything. We like to surprise people when they arrive.
For example, for Lauba, we printed a giant A0 poster and made a hyper-lapse video of us carrying it from Dolac all the way to Lauba, taking photos every few meters. The shoot took almost 4 hours.
For Karijola, we designed a fake newspaper cover and filmed a video of people passing the paper around the city, ending with everyone gathering at the event. These campaigns aren’t obligations – we do them out of love for aesthetics, ideas, and our audience. You can see all of it on our Instagram.
Your events are more than parties — they’re spaces where different people and ideas meet. How important is networking in what you do?
Exactly. We don’t want to be perceived as a typical party organization – because we are not. Music is very important, and we always book great DJs, but we don’t focus our communication around that.
We purposely don’t announce who’s playing. We want people to come because of the concept, the atmosphere, and the content – not just the line-up. That leaves room for discovery and creates a vibe where people are more open to conversation and connection.
We aim to build environments that encourage interaction, not passive consumption.

Where do you see Atelier N°8 heading in the next year? What do you hope people think of when they hear your name?
Frano: We have big plans for the future. In the next year, we want to:
- Work with at least five major clients and produce high-end events for them.
- Organize at least two of our own original events every month — each one more creative and visually powerful than the last.
- Keep surprising and outdoing ourselves with every new concept.
As for perception – we want Atelier N°8 to be seen as a new-generation event agency. One that doesn’t just throw events, but builds culture, connects people, and creates spaces for quality content and meaningful encounters.

As Atelier N°8 continues to shape Zagreb’s event scene with bold ideas, immersive aesthetics, and a deep focus on community, one thing is clear – this is more than just an agency. It’s a creative movement redefining what it means to gather, celebrate, and connect. With each event, they’re not only raising the bar, but also reminding us that experiences are most powerful when they’re personal, intentional, and unforgettable.
