DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2024: Next 50 gives the spotlights to the rising artists who are making an impact on the scene. This list focuses on the DJs not yet in the main Top 100, but are quickly gaining recognition and creating their way in the scene. It’s a reflection of the trends and styles that are connecting with fans and a good indicator of which artists could be headlining major stages soon.
107 Morten is a Danish DJ and producer who has earned his place on DJ Mag’s Next 50 with his distinctive “Future Rave” sound and collaborations with David Guetta (second on the list this year). Known for his powerful mix of melodic vocals and bass-heavy drops, Morten’s style has accumulated 4.7 million monthly Spotify listeners and kept his tracks in the top 5 most-played globally. In addition to his music, he launched Denmark’s top-selling merchandise line, “BBA”, and performed 147 shows internationally. In 2023 in collaboration with We Rave You he had a summer residency at Noa Beach Club on our Zrce Beach. Recently his achievements include a residency at Hï Ibiza and the Future Rave label launch.
125 Honey Dijon is known for her genre-blending sets, she draws from Chicago’s house music heritage, merging it with classic New York and European sounds. Her journey began in Chicago, where her early mentors Derrick Carter and Danny Tenaglia introduced her to the underground scene, shaping her approach to DJing. Last year she headlined the BSH event in Zagreb and has performed at Defected Croatia multiple times, creating a strong connection with Croatian fans. In the studio, her forward-thinking productions on labels such as Classic Records reflect her unique style and high knowledge of music. Additionally, her collaborations with brands like Louis Vuitton show her impact beyond just music, where she creates sounds and speaks on gender inclusivity in club culture.
128 Aster, currently one of Korea’s top EDM DJs, has a strong fan support and presence in Seoul’s famous clubs and festivals like the Spectrum Dance Music Festival and World DJ Festival. His audience supports his unique Electro House sets, and ability to adapt to their trends. With his solo work, he is also a part of 90BOMBS Crew and DJ Duo Master Beatz, as he collaborates with local DJs to establish Korea’s EDM scene.
135 Oguz has earned his place on DJ Mag’s Next 50 for his fast rise and unique contributions to the techno scene. Despite his young age, the Dutch-Turkish DJ and producer has spent almost a decade creating a sound that defies genre constraints, blending his cultural influences with the influences of Amsterdam’s music scene. Since debuting in 2017, he has built a loyal fanbase across Europe, performing at major festivals and clubs from Istanbul to London. This summer, he further expanded his reach with a performance at Verknipt, on our coast, on a boat cruise. His breakout tracks like “Golden SZN” and “FC Horsepower” have accomplished millions of plays, and showcasing his dedication to experimentation in production.
141 Miss Monique, a Ukrainian DJ, producer, and label owner, has quickly become known globally, recognized for her melodic techno and progressive house sets. With over 200 million views on YouTube and around 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners, her reach is undeniable. Croatia has become a familiar stage for Miss Monique, who has built a dedicated fanbase here with her past performances – she headlined in Zagrebs Boogaloo Club, as well as on Sonus Festival at Zrce Beach and Ultra Music Festival in Split. Other than music, Miss Monique advocates for mental and physical well-being and represents Ukraine on the world stage. As an ambassador of peace and unity, she acknowledges the emotional weight of seeing Ukrainian flags raised at her shows worldwide, a gesture that symbolizes solidarity with the ongoing challenges her country faces.
