The 67th Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 2nd in Los Angeles, and the nominations for this annual ceremony have been announced. Nominees will compete in 94 categories, three of which are dedicated to achievements in dance/electronic music. This year, the leader in nominations is Beyoncé, with a total of 11 nominations. Joining the race for the prestigious music award is Croatian music producer Damjan Blažun.
One of the surprises in this year’s nominations is certainly Croatian music producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and audio engineer Damjan Blažun, credited on track number 9 of the album Crash by American singer-songwriter Kehlani. The album has been nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album, and the song that Blažun worked on is called “Tears,” featuring Omah Lay.
This young and successful producer expressed his excitement on his Instagram profile, and we wish him the best of luck at the upcoming award ceremony. “Today, a dream came true. Words can’t fully capture how grateful I am for this moment,” Damjan shared with his followers.
