Borna, also known as DJ BornA, hails from Rijeka, where he discovered his passion for electronic music at just 14, falling in love with the soaring melodies and energy of trance legends like Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Push, and Rank 1. Four years later, at the age of 18, he began his journey as a DJ, initially exploring house music before finding his true calling in the depths of techno and melodic techno.
Now, DJ BornA crafts sets that blend the rhythmic power of techno with the emotive melodies reminiscent of his trance roots, creating an immersive experience for listeners.

DJ BornA: it would definitely be MATHAME. Those guys are absolutely killing it in the melodic techno scene right now. I admire how they’ve developed such a unique, recognizable style that stands out and are not afraid to push boundaries and experiment with new sounds. Their music has this incredible emotional depth, but it’s also dark and driving, which is something I really connect with in my own sets. I’d love to hear more about their creative process and what inspires them to keep evolving their sound.
