With a deep passion for electronic music, DJ SKA’s love for music and curating playlists began ten years ago. However, it was five years ago that she truly stepped behind the decks and embraced DJing. What started as a fascination with sound and rhythm quickly grew into an unstoppable desire to explore the world of electronic music festivals.
These experiences shaped her artistic vision, guiding her journey from house music to the driving energy of techno. Inspired by legends such as Carl Cox, Paul Kalkbrenner, Oxia, and Solomun, she channels their influence into her own unique style, making a lasting impression with every performance.
Over the years, she has played at some of Zagreb’s most renowned venues, including Gallery, Depo, Boogaloo, and Lift, as well as outdoor events with Elektrotechnika and Goodvibes Division. She has shared the stage with industry giants like Sven Väth and Ferreck Dawn, along with many incredibly talented local artists. Very soon, she will be performing alongside Palestinian DJ legend Sama’ Abdulhadi at Boogaloo on April 4th, marking another exciting milestone in her career.
Beyond DJing, SKA has been instrumental behind the scenes in shaping the Elektrotechnika brand and organizing their events, helping establish the collective’s distinctive presence in the electronic music scene.
Her sets are defined by a signature groove and high-energy sound, deeply rooted in house and techno, yet seamlessly incorporating elements of deep house and indie dance.
