A new documentary about the life and legacy of Avicii, titled I’m Tim, will premiere on Netflix on December 31, 2024. The film, named after Avicii’s real name, Tim Bergling, initially debuted at the Tribeca Festival on June 9, 2024, and is now set for a global audience.
Directed by Swedish journalist and director Henrik Burman and produced by Björn Tjärnberg, the documentary features never-before-seen footage of the EDM superstar, whose untimely passing deeply impacted fans worldwide. According to Billboard, the film includes exclusive interviews with Tim’s parents, friends, collaborators, and fellow artists, offering a detailed look at his journey from childhood in Sweden to becoming a global music phenomenon.
Fans will also get a glimpse of his final performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza, providing an intimate look at the artist during his last moments on stage.
