Club Funk continues hosting dynamic KHAOS in Funk! series, dedicated to showcasing emerging artists, with an exciting new exhibition VILE NA DOBAR NAČIN by Fran Perkov opening this Thursday, March 13th, at 8 PM. This initiative, by Khaos Collective, provides a platform and opportunity for young talents to present their work in a vibrant environment of Funk.
VILE NA DOBAR NAČIN (eng. Fairies in a Good Way) by Fran Perkov
Young and promising artist, Fran Perkov, explores self-portraiture beyond a literal view, delving into personal inner processes and transformations. His work combines different painting techniques – oil pastels, watercolor, acrylic, oil paints, tempera, colored pencils, and textiles. By incorporating dress pattern paper and hand embroidery, he explores the boundaries of traditional painting methods.
The exhibition focuses on and speaks about personal challenges, identity, and the inner strength needed to face change. Perkov sends a powerful message – regardless of age or life circumstances, we are never alone in our process of change. Even when we face uncertainties or questions, there is always space for comfort – whether in something or someone.
