This Friday, May 9th, Funk Club in Zagreb will host the opening of Marko Zbodulja‘s photography exhibition titled LICA NOĆI [eng. Faces of the Night]. The opening will start at 8 PM, and the evening will be accompanied by a DJ set by Miki Delay.

Marko Zbodulja is a young Zagreb-based photographer known for his unique approach to documenting nightlife. His photographs capture moments of intimacy, energy, and the dynamics of urban nocturnal scenes, creating a strong visual impact and inviting viewers to dive into a world that often remains unseen. Zbodulja’s work is characterized by authenticity, expressiveness, and a careful selection of moments that tell the story of everyday life in Zagreb. His photographs have a raw, unfiltered, and somewhat chaotic aesthetic that evokes the spirit of the early 2000s, reminiscent of the Indie Sleaze style – expressed through flash photography and the spontaneity of the moment. He named his exhibition LICA NOĆI [eng. Faces of the Night] to reflect the vivid depictions of the faces of the night in Zagreb.

At the opening, Marko’s visual expression will be musically accompanied by DJ Miki Delay, a young DJ from Zagreb who spreads the culture of alternative and unconventional music in a danceable form with deep basslines and dynamic rhythms. From Miki, you can expect a fusion of Indian influences with Brazilian dance rhythms, Caribbean hypnotic nyabinghi drums, tight breakbeats of American soul, and classic funk boogie bangers.

Entrance to the exhibition is free, and it will be on display until May 21st this year.
