PIKNIK WITH BAD BOOMBOX, KALI & GIANCARLO
October 3, Peti Kupe, Zagreb
For years, this Berlin-based Bulgarian-American DJ has refused to stick to just one genre, doing so in his own unique, slightly wacky, yet highly infectious style. His new “hard beach” concept perhaps best encapsulates his entire philosophy: taking the upbeat, summery, danceable side of house music and giving it a bit more muscle. And for a night that promises to be livelier than usual, Bad Boombox is joined by the kind of collaborators he deserves.
Kali brings her signature—and now iconic—blend of groove, house, and feminine unpredictability, while Giancarlo—founder of the :D:S:P club night—has been playfully navigating Zagreb’s nightlife for over a decade through his alter egos, DJ Armani and DJ Sprint.

DARKWAVE SYNTH RAVE GIG @ MOČVARA CLUB
October 7, Močvara, Zagreb
Močvara transforms into a space of darkness, dance, and the lo-fi aesthetic of bygone eras—composed of halftone projections of a state of mind attempting to appear normal. Autumn is arriving, bringing with it the gloom of everyday life. We dance together to: 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗬 𝗠𝗨𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗥 (Germany) and 𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗜𝗥 (Sisak).

EXHIBITIONS
A MULTI-TITLE DANCE EXHIBITION: A LIVING NETWORK OF RELATIONSHIPS – COLLABORATION AS PRACTICE – DANCE IN SEARCH OF A STAGE
October 1 – December 6, Musem of Contemporary Art, Zagreb
The exhibition—bearing multiple titles: *A Living Network of Relationships*, *Collaboration as Practice*, and *Dance in Search of a Stage*—presents an archival overview of twenty-five years of the dance platform known as the Experimental Free Scene (EkS-scena / ekscene), while simultaneously serving as a space where that history continues to unfold. Rather than freezing dance and turning it into a museum object, the exhibition traces the people, relationships, spaces, knowledge, and organizational methods through which the independent dance scene emerged, transformed, and endured.

NADIJA MUSTAPIĆ: TIME IS
October 4-7, Pogon Jedinstvo, Zagreb
Rijeka-based artist Nadija Mustapić is presenting a spatial audiovisual installation that uses moving images, sound, and original text to explore the relationship between human and geological time, the body and the environment, and water as a substance connecting different temporal and spatial scales. Drawing on years of filming at a specific stream, Mustapić creates an immersive spatial installation in which water is not merely a motif within the depicted landscape, but a bearer of memory and change. Water flows through bodies, rocks, underground currents, and the atmosphere; it vanishes and reappears, linking the human experience of time to processes that far transcend it. The exhibition opens on Sunday, October 4, at 7 PM in the Great Hall of Pogon Jedinstvo. It will remain open until October 7, from 4 PM to 8 PM.

IS THIS MY WORLD?
October 2, Kamba Garage, Zagreb
From the foreword of the author of the curator concept, Nikolina Colnago, Marko Drmaca and Dora Mestrovic we highlight:
“Given the passage of time and the changing political order and the changed attitude towards artistic expression caused by hypermedialization and individualization of society, we wondered how relevant Jerman’s slogan is today. We invited artists to reflect on this issue by answering the question Is this my world? Through different media, perspectives and approaches, six papers contextualize this issue. Mirjana Vrdoljak, Anja Kosec and Noa Jozić provide an answer through the theme of creative blocks and constant demands for artistic production, while Rodrigo Carneiro Queirós takes a Kozarić approach in which every act is equally creative. Long live unemployment and Jefimija Stoicic bring social and political criticism through the print media, while Ivan Djukez seeks a solution and calls for dialogue.
The exhibition will also be open on the weekend in the following dates
Sat: 5-8 PM
Sun: 3:30-5:30 PM
