This week on the Istrian Peninsula, the five-day Lighthouse Festival kicks off at Lanterna, featuring a lineup of over 120 artists performing at unique locations across the peninsula. These include a beach floor, a main stage with a sea view, a villa floor, an abandoned industrial kitchen, and intriguing stages in the forest. Already, 95% of tickets have been sold.
This year’s Lighthouse Festival will take place from May 28 to June 1, offering a 24-hour program throughout its duration. The festival has also had international editions debuting in Zanzibar and Cape Town this year, and like the Croatian edition before, it was ranked among the top 10 global festivals by Resident Advisor.
The lineup includes names like Paula Tape, Suze Ijó, Octo Octa, Palms Trax, MALUGI, Kia, Gerd Janson, Ogazon, and many others. The theme for this year’s edition is – Electronic Music on Vacation.
Lighthouse also features a strong visual concept, developed in collaboration with lichterloh, an artist studio from Vienna with whom they’ve worked for 10 years. Known for experimenting with digital technologies, the studio creates stage sets, media art, live visuals, and interactive installations that blend art and technology, adding an essential layer to the musical experience.
The Oasis Floor is included with the festival ticket — a chill zone where guests can relax or participate in breathwork, yoga, meditation, workshops, handicrafts, Kundalini yoga, and many other forms of relaxation, all guided by skilled practitioners.
Each year, the festival also offers a new selection of pop-ups. A limited number of tickets are still available and can be found here.
