Some DJs play music, and there are those who build worlds. Patrice Bäumel belongs to the latter

Bäumel’s story begins in East Germany, where his father filled his house with records. When the
When the Berlin Wall fell, a new sonic universe opened up. Techno flooded Berlin, and Patrice was among the first to catch it as a signal from the future. At the age of seventeen, he was already standing behind the counter, inspired by records from Hardwax and the sound of Detroit and Chicago that was beginning to shape European club culture.
The first real signal from the radar arrived with the track Roar, which began circulating among DJs and dance floors around the world. This was followed by residencies at the legendary Amsterdam clubs 11 and Trouw, places where long sets were the rule. Today, his releases are the soundtrack to countless club nights, and mixes for Global Underground, Balance or BBC Essential Mix have further solidified his status as a DJ who knows how to tell a story.

When Patrice Bäumel stands behind the counter, the melodies get under your skin, and time begins to flow differently. Therefore, in such a sound and energy, his partner at the counter at Peti Kupe will be Petar Dundov, also a pioneer of the techno scene and one of the most successful Croatian DJs on the global scene.
