Each summer, the people of Zagreb are looking for a shade, and it is impossible to stay out during the daytime. When the sun starts to come down, the locals seek shelter on the bar terraces, especially on lake Jarun, which some call “the Zagreb sea”.
Aquarius Zagreb organised a day-by-day program throughout July called Sunset Selections starting from 7 P.M., including DJ sets, fashion shows and pop quizes.
Each Monday is reserved for Yova, a passionate music enthusiast providing organica, afro, jazz house, melodic and progressive rhytms. Wednesdays are for ‘New kids on the block’, showcasing up-and-coming DJ-s and collectives, including Discopolis & Hyvan, Fakat Fajn w/ Lipi & Matteo Brunni, Sunblok 37 with pop up fashion show and live performance and Anja Domić & Marcela. General knowledge quiz is on schedule for every Thursday, while weekends are booked for various artists and DJs, including Somotion, Sassja, Cromaniacz, LunatheDJ, Koolade, Lovro Baletić & Sven Kurtović (On&On collective), Teo Harouda & Mozer, Matija Kovač, Eloc and Slish.
