DJ Mag revealed its 2025 Top 100 DJs list last week in Ibiza, during a live event at [UNVRS], marking the 32nd edition of the poll with the Ibiza debut.
David Guetta reclaimed the No. 1 spot, his fifth career win, joining Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren as the only artists to reach that number. Over the past year, Guetta has remained one of the busiest producers around, with collaborations alongside MORTEN, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, and others – continuing to connect mainstream pop and electronic music with ease.

The rest of the top five came as little surprise: Martin Garrix held second place, followed by Alok, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Armin van Buuren, who also received DJ Mag’s Outstanding Contribution award and was named World’s No. 1 Trance DJ.
Among this year’s notable shifts, Solomun earned the title of Highest Climber, moving up 33 places after an active year of touring and releases. Michael Bibi entered the ranking for the first time at #48, taking Highest New Entry, while Charlotte de Witte was once again voted World’s No. 1 Techno DJ, maintaining her strong position inside the Top 10. On the harder end of the spectrum, Sara Landry rose to #62, reclaiming her title as World’s No. 1 Hard DJ.
This year’s poll reached a record 231 territories, showing just how wide electronic music travels today, from the biggest main stages to small local communities that keep the scene alive. The Ibiza event brought together Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Miss Monique, Indira Paganotto, Jazzy and others, rounding off the season in a way that captured just how broad today’s scene really is.
The top of the list might not have changed much, but what’s happening beneath it certainly has. New artists are breaking through, sounds are crossing over, and the idea of what defines a “top DJ” keeps shifting. 2025 might not have rewritten the story, but it feels like the beginning of something new.
