Tomorrowland Academy is hosting a DJ competition, giving one talented winner the chance to perform a DJ set at this year’s Tomorrowland festival, which will take place over two weekends: July 18–20 and July 25–27 in Boom, Belgium.
This international contest is part of the educational program run by the world-renowned electronic music festival and is open to artists worldwide. Participants can submit their mixtapes until July 15, 2025.
The official website invites DJs to “submit a 30–45 minute mixtape that truly represents you! Dig deep into music databases to uncover hidden gems. Keep transitions clean but engaging, ensuring long blends don’t make the mix dull. Infuse energy and personality into your progression to keep listeners hooked.”
Applicants are encouraged to showcase their unique style and passion. Along with the mixtape, they must also submit a motivational video introducing themselves and explaining their ambition to perform at this iconic festival.
Previous winners have already made waves—The Yard Woman, last year’s winner, delivered an unforgettable set on the House of Fortune stage at Tomorrowland Belgium 2024. AYDEN LOYDE also earned his spotlight, opening the Reflection of Love stage at Tomorrowland Winter 2025 with his blend of melodic techno and indie dance.
Tomorrowland Academy continues to support aspiring DJs and producers with expert-led courses, hands-on tutorials, and industry-level resources—helping artists of all levels sharpen their skills and grow their creative vision.
