Ibiza is about to welcome a whole new era of nightlife with the opening of [UNVRS] Ibiza, a next-level club experience launching this Friday, May 30th. To build the hype, the team behind the venue just dropped a beautifully shot short film that captures what UNVRS is all about – connection, emotion, and the power of music to bring people together across the globe.
The film takes us on a journey through cities like Rio and Tokyo, showing people bonding through music. It’s a bold reminder of how universal the dancefloor really is.
[UNVRS] (short for “Universe”) is being called the world’s first hyperclub – a massive, high-tech space that blends the scale of a festival with the vibe and style of a luxury nightclub. It’s located on the grounds of the legendary former Privilege Ibiza, once the biggest club in the world.
Design-wise, UNVRS is just as forward-thinking as its concept. Inspired by traditional Ibizan architecture, it features whitewashed walls, natural stone textures, and a big glass dome overlooking the terrace with panoramic views of Ibiza Town. Inside, it draws from brutalism, retro-futurism, and Art Deco influences, designed for full sensory immersion. Even the bathrooms – The Wild Comet – are their own micro-club, complete with a DJ booth, immersive lighting, and acoustics that match the main room. Every corner of the venue is built to impress, move, and transport.
Opening night will feature a stacked lineup with Carista, Joseph Capriati, The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, and more. The summer ahead looks just as massive, with residencies from Carl Cox, David Guetta, Anyma, Jamie Jones, and a hard techno takeover with Sara Landry.
The project is led by nightlife visionary Yann Pissenem (the force behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza), so expectations are sky-high.
If the short film is a good clue, UNVRS is going to be an experience. One that could change the way we think about nightlife.
