Known for his long-standing DJ career, Sicillio is stepping into music production after years of shaping dance floors behind the scenes. As part of the MYUZ collective, he has helped build a loyal audience through events and DJ sets. Blending the groove of classic house with a modern tech house edge, Sicillio’s sound reflects both experience and emotional depth, marking an exciting new chapter in his artistic journey. After releasing his new single ‘You Know’, which is now available on all streaming platforms, we had a chat with him about his music production journey.

“Production has actually been present for years through our collective MYUZ, where we have active producers like Yakka and Mario who have been doing it for quite some time. Initially, the focus was on DJ performances, event organization, and building an audience. Over those roughly eight years, we developed the scene, gained experience, and built a fanbase—and now the time has come for production to take center stage,“, Sicillio explained.
When it comes to a definition of his sound, he describes it as a modern and old-school approach to house and tech house music. He aims to keep the groove and energy of classic house elements while blending them with contemporary production and sound design, which is perfectly showcased in his latest single, ‘You Know’.
“The track was created last summer during a pretty intense period in my personal life. It was a phase filled with a lot of thoughts and emotions, and that somehow translated into the energy of the track itself. At one point, I even considered not releasing it because it holds a certain personal meaning for me. But in the end, I decided to put it out because those kinds of tracks often connect best with the audience”, he explained the artistic and emotional journey connected to his music production.
At the end of our conversation, he announced the upcoming release next month, which is an edit of a very popular track. “I don’t want to reveal too many details just yet, but I can say I’m very happy with how it turned out, and I have a feeling it could be one of those tracks that makes a bigger breakthrough“, he concluded.
