The first day of the three-day Zagreb Music Fest 2025, which will take place from June 6 to 8 at Jarun in Zagreb, will be marked by an electronic spectacle led by one of the most influential global DJs and producers – Maceo Plex! His return to Croatia after 12 years promises a top-tier audiovisual experience, and Jarun, organized by Future Scope, which is celebrating 23 years of operation, will once again become the open-air epicenter of electronic music.
Maceo Plex, an American DJ and producer known for his unique blend of techno, house, and electro sounds, began his career under the name Maetrik. His music has been released on prestigious labels like Crosstown Rebels, Kompakt, and his own label, Ellum Audio. Maceo Plex does not follow trends – he sets them. His sets and musical productions, filled with deep, groovy rhythms, are always technically flawless and create soundscapes that leave a lasting impression.
Joining him on the lineup are Dutch DJ and producer Eelke Kleijn, as well as local talents DJ Jock, Shipe, and Lemon, making this evening a true spectacle for all fans of quality underground sounds. Each of these artists brings their own vision of electronic music, creating a dynamic and diverse program that will satisfy even the most demanding audience.
Eelke Kleijn is known for his authentic approach to music, and his career is enriched with remixes for artists such as John Legend, Pendulum, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, as well as compositions for film hits like Batman vs Superman and Rush. With four albums to his name, he has become widely recognized both in and outside the music industry.
