A comic book anthology about the world of Daft Punk is set for release in 2027. The collection presents original stories, archival material and essays exploring science fiction, electronic music and technology, and will be published by the French science fiction magazine Métal Hurlant. The 272-page edition features 26 comics and six articles inspired by the legendary electronic duo, with contributions from more than 30 comics creators.

Customers who pre-order the comic now, via the publishers Humanoids, will receive an exclusive cover by Cedric Hervet, Daft Punk’s long-time creative director, and Warren Fu, who worked on multiple videos for ‘Random Access Memories’. There are also 80 VIP places available for fans to have their faces illustrated by artist Florian Breuil and featured in the ‘Concert That Never Happened’, with their names included in a double-page spread in the comic.
In the Instagram post announcing the release, other offers were included such as a four-poster campaign exclusive for subscribers and hardcover editions. The post also teased further versions set to be sold in the US and France.
