Last week, a new art space, Atelje na Ribnjaku [eng. Atelier on Ribnjak], was launched on the second floor of Ribnjak 18 by a collective of young Croatian academic artists. The opening featured an open studio, a sales exhibition, and an “Artist Talk” where the artists shared their work, plans, and upcoming programs.
The Atelier was founded by five female artists: Hana Hanak, Katrin Radovani, Petra Šabić, Tara Beata Racz, and Zorana Unković. Visitors had the chance to view their artworks and learn about January’s program, which includes creative workshops offered at promotional prices.

Her exhibitions include Welcome Home (2023) and international showcases like Percepcije in Belgrade. Her award-winning works, Isolated in Laptop and Isolated in Mobile, were displayed at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb.
“We encourage everyone to follow our Instagram for updates on upcoming events and feel free to visit us, even if it’s just for a casual conversation in the studio,” shared one of the founders Hana Hanak. “We aim to foster an open and inclusive space where people can connect, communicate, and be part of our creative journey. Whether it’s attending workshops, Open Studio exhibitions, or simply dropping by for a cup of coffee, we want everyone to feel welcome and inspired to engage with art and creativity in their own way.”
