This Saturday (May 7th) at Peti Kupe, Dobar House teams up with Waacking Croatia – a collective known for building and sustaining Croatia’s Waacking dance community. The collaboration brings together two scenes that, while distinct in form, share deep cultural and musical roots.
Waacking is a dance style that emerged in the 1970s disco era, rooted in expressive movement, rhythm, and individuality. Over the past several years, Waacking Croatia has played a central role in developing the local scene – organizing battles, workshops, and training sessions, while also participating in international events that connect Croatian dancers with the global waacking and street dance community.

Dobar House, known for its consistent focus on 90s house and disco-influenced sounds, provides a fitting environment for this crossover. The event aims to bridge music and movement in a way that feels both natural and deliberate, spotlighting the cultural continuity between club music and dance.
Performers on the night include:
– Dancers: DANCHI, MIKKI MALONE, TONYA, and TUNABOI.
– Music by Dobar House residents: Hrwo E, Tom Bug & Grooveline, and joining for the first time is Arya P, in a special back-to-back set with Dvornykova, who has already brought the energy to Dobar House party once before.

With this event, Dobar House expands its programming beyond the traditional DJ-driven format, incorporating live dance performances as an integral part of the night. It’s a concept that respects the origins of club culture while actively contributing to its evolution.
Tickets for this crossover are available via the Entrio platform.
