The first weekend of June brings a full schedule across Croatia’s electronic music circuit. With clubs, collectives, and festivals activating spaces around the country, the summer season is effectively underway. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening from June 6th to 8th, 2025.

FRIDAY / June 6th
Butik x Peti Kupe w/ Octo Octa📍Peti Kupe, Zagreb
Butik is making its final stop before the festival with a special event in Zagreb this Friday. In collaboration with Peti Kupe, a venue that has quickly established itself as a key space for underground electronic music in Croatia since its opening in 2022, this night brings together international and local talent. Headlining the event is Octo Octa, whose closing set at last year’s Butik Festival alongside Eris Drew left a lasting impression. She returns to Croatia with support from Antonio Zuza and Pepi Jogarde in a back-to-back set, as well as Borut Cvajner, Lara, and Maša.

Nicola Fasano 📍Culture Club Revelin, Dubrovnik
This Friday, Nicola Fasano, an Italian DJ and producer known for his blend of house, Latin, and electro sounds, performs at Culture Club Revelin in Dubrovnik. Best known for the track “75 Brazil Street”, later sampled by Pitbull for “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)”.

Summer Season Opening📍Club Lazareti, Dubrovnik
Lazareti opens the 2025 summer season with a set by Marixia, an emerging artist on the European electronic music scene. Recognised for her dynamic sets and strong connection with the crowd, Marixia brings a distinct energy to one of Dubrovnik’s most iconic venues. The evening will also feature local support from Oz Underground.

SATURDAY / June 7th
Čaga – New Moon Rising📍The Garden Taproom, Zagreb
The first edition of ČAGA brings an open-air evening of organic rhythms and earthy sounds to the Garden Taproom courtyard, powered by a Function 1 sound system. ČAGA is a new event series focused on creating a space for community, free movement, and meaningful connection through music. For the first edition, the lineup includes: M.I.LE., Donnie Darko, and JUHA.

Dobar House x Waacking Croatia📍Peti Kupe, Zagreb
Dobar House teams up with Waacking Croatia – a collective of exceptional dancers who have been championing the waacking scene in Croatia. They’ve been organizing events, battles, and workshops, while also traveling abroad to learn, compete, and connect with the global dance community. The lineup includes Hrwo E and Tom Bug & Grooveline, with Arya P making her Dobar House debut in a special b2b set with Dvornykova, who’s already brought the vibes to our floor once before.

Unfold w/ Mataya📍DEPO Club, Zagreb
The next edition of Unfold brings Mataya (Matija Tonković) to the decks – a well-known figure on the local electronic scene, recognized for his role as a resident at the legendary Bodywork parties. His DJ sets are a seamless blend of deep house and minimal, marked by subtle grooves and a refined underground aesthetic. Support comes from trusted Unfold regulars Spinnski and Mozer.

Underground D.O.O📍Lift Beach Club, Zrce Beach – Novalja
This weekend, the Underground collective is heading to the coast — more specifically, to Lift Beach Club. The lineup features the collective’s resident DJs, Ka Oz, and Otto, with Pusmus and Radios closing the night. The musical direction will move from groovy selections to harder techno sounds.

FESTIVALS
Zagreb Music Fest
6th – 8th June📍Jarun Lake, Zagreb
The 2025 edition of Zagreb Music Fest opens with a collaboration between the festival and Future Scope – marking their 23rd anniversary. Headlining the night is Maceo Plex, returning to Zagreb after more than a decade, alongside Dutch artist Eelke Kleijn, known for his melodic productions and soundtrack work. Local acts Lemon, DJ Jock, and Shipe complete the lineup.

On Saturday, Parov Stelar takes the spotlight with his blend of electro-swing, jazz, and electronic production. He is joined by J.R. August, known for layered, orchestral folk compositions, and Pocket Palma, whose sound is rooted in melodic synth-pop with a strong 80s influence.

Gates of Agartha
6th – 8th June📍Cave Romane, Vinkuran
Gates of Agartha 2025 takes place in the ancient Roman quarry Cave Romane near Pula, a dramatic open-air venue surrounded by towering limestone walls. The main event runs across two nights, with performances from leading electronic artists including Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Âme x Jimi Jules, BLOND:ISH, Carlita, AMÉMÉ, and Adam Ten x Mita Gami. The site’s natural acoustics and large-scale visual production turn the quarry into a striking backdrop.
