The 7th edition of the Sea Star Festival has been confirmed and will take place from May 22 to 25 in the Stella Maris Lagoon, Umag. Last year’s edition attracted an impressive 44,000 attendees from over 40 countries, opening the summer season with performances from Hot Since 82, ARTBAT, Deborah De Luca and many more. The first wave of the 2025 lineup has been announced, and it is a mix of both international and regional artists.
On the first official night – Friday, May 22- Indira Paganotto, one of the most exciting names in electronic music, is bringing her signature ARTCORE sound to the main stage. This Spanish DJ has been performing on stages at Coachella, Tomorrowland, and EXIT, and her mix of psychedelic and techno beats is one of the fan favourites.
French DJ I Hate Models, who blends industrial, rave, and techno, is another famous name in the lineup for the first day. His productions, DJ sets, and work on his label – Disco Inferno – serve as a true reflection of his artistic self-exploration, blending light and darkness within a single rhythm. The emotions he channels range from passion and nostalgia to melancholy, loneliness, and raw intensity.
Another big artist joining in on Friday is Berlin-based DJ Patrick Mason. Known for his work in underground electronic music and his hybrid sets that mix house and techno, Mason has become a recognized name in the global electronic music circuit. His set is expected to bring a dynamic mix of futuristic sounds and dancefloor-ready tracks.
For the second night organisers have announced Loreen – the first woman to win the Eurovision Song Contest twice. With internationally acclaimed tracks like “Euphoria” and “Tattoo,” she has established herself as one of Europe’s most successful pop artists.
In addition to the main headliners, the festival always showcases and supports regional artists. The Electric Waves stage this year will feature Antonio Zuza, Elena Mikac, Lash, Marcel, and Mimi, to complement the international performers.
