Next Saturday, on June 28th, INSITE is celebrating its first anniversary at the Garden Taproom, one of the most beautiful terraces in the capital. As we are slowly wrapping up the applications for the open decks, we asked our headliners Kali and Madezh to share their current top 5 tracklist – the tunes that somehow mark their days and nights.
When the sun goes down, Madezh will take over the decks from 9:00 P.M. with his selection of vinyls that showcase various subgenres of electronic music. Based in Split, Croatia, Madezh is one of the undisclosed heroes of the Dalmatian underground scene and the founder of Travel Light Records, also known for his Cruise Split boat parties and releases for Residual and u.dig.

“Many people don’t actually know that I’m quite an eclectic DJ — my collection spans not only house and techno, but also lounge, future jazz, disco, garage, minimal, electro etc. Below, I’ll present a few vinyl records and digital tracks that are dear to me and that I enjoy playing at certain venues or during specific times of the day”, he announced.
1. Qusok – Solace (Original Mix)
“The first track is something I wake up to in the morning — it’s also the sound of my podcasts. It’s rare that you’ll come across one of my podcasts that’s focused only on peak time club sounds. They’re mostly tracks I can’t really play, or only very rarely get the chance to play out when I’m booked.”
2. Immersif – La Tourne Des Phares ( Scruscru Remix )
“The record I recently bought has the kind of sound that works perfectly for beach bars or fine restaurants when I get the chance to play. I know that when people think of the beach, many imagine a harder beach party vibe, but if I have a say, I’m more into chillout sounds by the sea—lighter house music and everything around that. Just enjoying the sun and my favorite cocktail, with music that doesn’t put me to sleep but keeps me awake and interested, in just the right way.”
3. Hotmood – Like that ( Original Mix )
“We’re slowly stepping into the territory of night bars that stay open until 1 AM. In Split, I enjoy playing at Olive Tree Bar and Galerija Bar. I mainly play nu-disco and deep house in those kinds of places… sometimes I go a bit harder if I feel the crowd is asking for it.”
4. East Coast Boogiemen & DJ Heather – Picture of you ( Cle Acklin Remix )
“We’re in a club, and you see me behind the decks at midnight, doing the warm-up for the upcoming guest DJ… you’re likely to catch me playing some old school house and tech house gems, tracks with just enough energy to keep the floor engaged, but still leaving room for the guest to tear the club in half when he/she come on.”
5. Herbert Vincent – Mase ( Original Mix )
“We’re on a boat in the Adriatic Sea, it’s 5 AM and the sun is slowly rising — it’s time for beautiful moments and memories.”
When it comes to club bangers, Madezh added that he loves the element of surprise: “You’re probably wondering why I didn’t include a peak-time club track. Well, simply because I want to keep that as a surprise for when you eventually catch me in some dark, sweat-filled club, completely losing my mind over what to play next. Cheers and see you at the INSITE party!”, he concluded, leaving the opportunity to hear his headliner set next weekend.

After Madezh, Kali is taking over and closing our celebratory month with her signature mix of punchy beats, making everyone jump, dance and vibe with her while she’s on the decks. Even though she prefers faster BPMs, her music selection varies across most electronic music genres—from house and tech house to techno, acid, garage, and hard groove. Kali established herself on the scene and was featured on lineups curated by the most popular clubs, promoters, and festivals in the country. However, this year marked the beginning of her career as a producer, with the debut EP ‘The First Pulse‘ released a couple of months ago. Here is her selection of the top 5 tracks:
1. Hanumankind, Kalmi – Hanumankind – Big Dawgs
“Rap…yes! Privately, I usually don’t listen to electronics at all for some time, I rest my brain with everything else. This is my second love – this thing… It’s a vibeee.”
2. Janis Zielinski – Holding Hands
“Definitely marked 2025. This one brings loads of emotions and thoughts. ❤”
3. Suki – Got Ta Move
“Just classy slay…”
4. DR. GRECO – BACK TO SCHOOL
“Everything here is simply in place and to my taste, some softer parts that turn into powerful. This one goes in my Dirty Classic folder.”
5. Franck – Get Down
“I don’t like to repeat things in sets, but there are tracks that are so good that you have to repeat them out of duty. This was one of those tracks that was played several times in my folder this year, and always got the same reaction.”
These two artists skillfully blend various sounds and genres, creating a sound that is uniquely theirs, yet almost impossible to strictly categorize. This is why we are excited for their upcoming production and the main reason why we chose them as our headliners – a cherry on top of our anniversary celebration.
