The International exhibition of graphic design and visual communications, Zgraf, organized by the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Art (ULUPUH), has opened applications for participation.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Zgraf exhibition in Zagreb, which will take place at the French Pavilion from June 10 to June 24, under the theme – Pleasure to All.
Artists from around the world are invited to apply until March 27, 2025. The registration fee ranges from €50 to €500, depending on the number of works submitted and the applicant’s country of origin. After submission, the Zgraf 13 Selection Committee will review all entries. If you’re interested, you can apply here.
This year’s exhibition will feature a showcase of selected works, lectures by members of the International Jury, an exhibition of the Zgraf 12 Grand Prix winners (Marija Juza and Nikola Đurek for the Balkan Sans typeface system), and the EduZgraf program for students, which includes student projects, workshops, lectures, and presentations.
„The theme of Zgraf 13, Pleasure to All, discusses the dimensions or the preconditions of the idea of pleasure and joy, answering the questions: What are the priorities of personal and what of collective pleasure and do we have them within our reach, or do we have to create them? Is pleasure the ultimate goal, or is it just one of the stations? What does pleasure really represent in a time in which political destabilization and social turbulence meet the decadence that imposes itself as the imperative of modern living?“ as stated on their website.
